The LGBTQIA+ Microbiology Network launched in 2022 and made sub-launches at the 2022 ASM National Conference in Sydney and the 2022 AusME Conference in Melbourne. The network aims to facilitate engagement within the LGBTQIA+ microbiology community and their allies and to showcase their research. The network is committed to diversity and welcomes all people to join us in this unique endeavour!
