GFP bacteria by Mark Somerville

The ASM NSW-ACT Branch offers several awards to recognise outstanding achievement, especially at the student and early-career level.
The undergraduate award comes with a one-year ASM membership as part of the prize, while the postdoc and ECR awards require the applicant to have been a member of the society for at least 12 months prior to making an application for the award. Details of these awards can be found in the pdf documents below. All applications should be made to the Awards representative on the branch committee (currently Thiru Vanniasinkam, tvanniasinkam@csu.edu.au). Note that the ASM National Office also offers many awards in microbiology, and we suggest that you also check their website for details of these: https://www.theasm.org.au/member-awards
